Terms of Use

The short version: Scriporia is free to use, everything you make is yours, and the optional Pro subscription can be cancelled at any time with nothing lost. These terms exist so both of us know where we stand.
Who we are
Scriporia (scriporia.com) is made by EnchantedBytes, a small independent studio based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us any time through the Feedback button inside the app. By using Scriporia you agree to these terms — if you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.
The service
Scriporia is a browser-based digital crafting app for planning and making scrapbook pages, junk journals and creative layouts. The core app — every editing tool — is free. Scriporia Pro is an optional paid subscription adding extra capacity and workflow features (currently unlimited projects and the print layout; the current feature list and price are always shown at the point of purchase).
Your work is yours
Everything you create in Scriporia belongs entirely to you. We claim no rights over your pages, projects or exports, and — as our privacy notice explains — your work is stored on your own device and never reaches us. That also means backups are in your hands: use File → Save a copy regularly, because work stored only in a browser can be lost with it.
Our content and bundled assets
The Scriporia app, its design and its code are ours. The decorative asset packs bundled in the app's library are EnchantedBytes artwork, included at screen resolution and free to use within Scriporia — place them, plan with them and export your layouts as you wish. The full-resolution versions of those packs are sold separately (the Buy links lead to our Etsy shop) and come with their own licence. What's not allowed is extracting, redistributing or reselling the bundled asset files themselves, as files.
Scriporia Pro — billing
Pro is sold through Paddle, our merchant of record — meaning Paddle is the seller on your receipt, and handles payment, VAT and billing security. The subscription renews automatically (monthly or annually, whichever you chose) until you cancel. Cancelling is deliberately easy: use the manage-subscription link in the app's Pro screen or in any Paddle receipt email, and it's done — no hoops, no retention scripts. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Full details, including refunds and your cooling-off rights, are in our refunds & cancellation policy.
If a subscription ends — cancelled or lapsed — every project you made remains openable and exportable, forever. Your active project stays fully editable; further projects open in view-and-export mode until you subscribe again. Your work is never taken away.
Fair use
Use Scriporia lawfully and don't attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service or its payment systems. Content you create is your responsibility — Scriporia is a local tool and we neither see nor moderate what you make.
The service, warranties and liability
We work hard to keep Scriporia reliable, but it is provided "as is": we can't promise it will always be available, unbroken or error-free, and features may change or be added over time (we announce notable changes in the app). To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before a claim; we do not exclude anything that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll make the change obvious in the app before it applies to you. The date at the top always tells you when they were last touched.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes belong to its courts — though we'd much rather you just talk to us first via the Feedback button.
